Your signature can make a difference.

If you have generously donated over €250 to us in any of the last four years, firstly I would like to say thank you. Thank you for supporting us to protect human rights around the world.

Today, your signature could support us even more. If you have kindly donated more than €250 in any of the last four years, your signature could be worth a minimum of €83.325 and could be worth even more.

All you need to do is to complete a few details on the tax reclaim form for the relevant years and return it to us as soon as you can.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What do I need to do?

A. Just look out for the tax reclaim forms we will post to you. We will send a reminder if you forget to send back the first. You simply sign and return and we will do everything else.

Q. What is the total amount of donations that qualify for tax relief?

A. Donations that total €250 or more in the full tax year.

Q. I am not a PAYE taxpayer but my partner is. What do I do?

A. As a married couple, either party can sign the form. However, please remember to ensure that the person who does pay PAYE enters their name, PPS number and signature on the form. Your PPS number appears on all tax and social welfare correspondence.

Q. I’m a pensioner – does this apply to me?

A. If you only receive the state pension, then you do not pay income tax. However, if you have other income, you probably pay some tax and we can claim on that amount.

Q. My tax rate is personal, will this information remain confidential?

A. Absolutely. Your details are confidential to Amnesty International and the Revenue and will not be used for anything other than the tax claim.

Q. Can I claim the tax relief myself?

No. Completing and returning the form is the only way that the tax can be claimed.

Q. I have a question that wasn’t covered above.
